Community Brainstorm Session

February 9, 2022 4:00-5:30 PM


In this session, parent-educators and students, as well as staff, will have an opportunity to provide feedback and help us Dream Big about what Community Education might look like for the 2022-2023 school year. Come help us create the vision for the future of CommEd.


Online Research Made Easy

March 1, 2022 3:00-4:00 PM


In this session, we will look at how to use one of the most robust and user friendly tools provided by the district- Gale In Context- for project based learning, interactive plug and play learning, kid-friendly fact-finding, research, and more. This session will be taught by Eryn Duffee with a potential surprise guest. Parents, faculty, workshop teachers, and students are all invited.


How to Spot Fake News

Come learn some quick tips for spotting fake news and sussing out inaccurate information in this fun and informative session. Media literacy is a skill people of all ages need and it is not always intuitive. Let us help you navigate the vast sea of information out there. This session will be led by our librarian, Eryn Duffee.
