Design the new logo for the Washington Children's Picture Book Award!

Image
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Washington Children's Choice Picture Book Award! To mark this milestone, they have decided it is time to update the logo and they are looking for input and inspiration from K-12 students. The final design should appeal to the audience of K-3rd grade students and reflect Washington state. How to participate: Print out the logo design form or pick one up from the Edmonds Heights library. Rules for entry are on the design form. Entries can be in color or black and white. Remember, this is for a logo and simple designs may work best. Return the completed design form to the library by FEBRUARY 4th! A committee will choose the two entries that will represent our school and send them into the state-wide selection committee. School based winners will be announced on February 9th. Happy designing, Edmonds Heights Artists! Ms. Duffee

Library Surveys

Image
There is always a learning curve when starting at a new library. What do the students enjoy reading? How does the community utilize the library space? What improvements can be made and what should we continue doing because it works well? By taking a short survey, you can help me know how I can best serve you. I want to hear from you!  Please complete the surveys by Jan 14th. We will have a survey at the end of the school year to gauge how well we met your needs. Starting in the Fall, we will have a start-of-year survey and end-of-year survey. It should take you no longer than 3-4 minutes to complete and will help us tremendously!  Students click here for your survey Parents click here for your survey Thank you! Ms. Duffee
